Chelsea + Randy’s California Beachside Wedding
| REAL WEDDING |
Chelsea and Randy are one of the most loving and generous couples and it was their dream to have a small destination wedding surrounded by their closest loved ones. For them, this was more than just a wedding between a bride and a groom – it was a chance to officially blend their combined five children and lives together in this exciting new chapter.
Living in Southern Illinois, the couple knew they wanted to travel somewhere amazing yet accessible for their closest friends and family members to join in their wedding day. While Scotland may have been their first choice, a California wedding ensured their loved ones could be there to see their union. Always ones for the beach, they knew Descanso Beach Club on Santa Catalina Island would be the ultimate wedding destination for them! With a beach-front ceremony location, and a private reception dinner space with killer views, they knew that this was the location for their dream wedding.
To make that dream a reality, the couple chose the amazing and creative Arizona and California wedding vendors Elyse Hall Photography, Isari Flower Studio, Celebrations in Paper and, of course Revel Wedding Co! The wedding design was taken straight from the Frank Lloyd Wright and Art Deco architecture that is so beautiful and prominent in Avalon. All of that history combined with the stunning natural surroundings created the ultimate backdrop for this memorable day! Their wedding design was right on-trend by showcasing the Pantone colors of 2016. We loved how Isari Flower Studio used materials like shells, abalone, and pompous grass in the wedding design - which is all indigenous to the Island!
As seen on Style Me Pretty, everything turned out so beautifully and the couple danced the night away with their families as the waves crashed nearby! Pure magic!
