Kate and Evan's Classic Wedding with a Twist
Kate and Evan are such a sweet couple! The two met through their church and instantly felt a connection; it wasn’t long before they were engaged and started the wedding planning process. We were so honored to be a part of their wedding and couldn’t wait to see it all come together.
Their day fell on a gorgeous Sunday in March and the weather was perfect. Kate and her closest girlfriends got their hair and makeup done in matching floral robes and Evan’s friends helped him perfect his look before making their way to El Chorro. Once they arrived, Kate’s sister sweetly helped fasten her dress and shoes before the Bride and Groom met for their first look. Elyse captured the intimate moment under the archway of leaves, and we felt their love and excitement radiate throughout the property.
Before guests arrived, Kate and Evan met her father and sister at the ceremony space to spend a moment remembering Kate’s mother. The lawn was decorated with classic white garden chairs and gorgeous floral arrangements lining the aisle, and Kate put together a beautiful, sentimental tribute in her mother’s honor on the first seat of the front row. Romantic petals covered the grass, and bright greenery and white flowers fully enveloped the arch to frame Kate and Evan as they vowed their love to one another. During their ceremony, they spent a few minutes worshipping with each other and their guests, and everyone felt an overwhelming sense of peace. That was a moment they will never forget.
Guests filled the patio surrounding Casa Paloma for Cocktail Hour and sipped on fun mocktails while mingling with each other. The lavender lemonade was a hit, and the espresso cart offered amazing lattes for guests to enjoy! Lounge furniture was positioned around the fireplace to provide a picturesque spot to relax. Guests found their names and table numbers on acrylic, hand lettered boards placed on hedge walls, and Kate and Evan joined their family and friends for the end of Cocktail Hour before all making their way inside to the Reception!
The couple’s sweetheart table was draped in a beautiful ivory linen that reflected the candlelight filling the room. Above them, the drapery hung throughout the ceiling created an extraordinary focal point. Touching toasts were made and the room was filled with both laughter and happy tears. Between the dance floor, the gelato cart, and the cigar bar, the night was full of fun for everyone! After dancing late into the night, guests lined up outside to see the newlyweds leave with a sparkler sendoff—talk about ending the night with a bang!
