Kim and Tim's Modern Glam Mountain Shadows Wedding
Excitement and anticipation filled the air as the hustle and bustle began on the warm October morning of Kim and Tim’s wedding day. The weekend celebration was long awaited after having to postpone. Every moment was cherished—it felt like time slowed as Kim sat and relaxed with her girls. Her mom was her ultimate cheerleader, reminding Kim of how beautiful she looked in her sleek dress. Meanwhile, Tim and his groomsmen got ready in their tuxes. They enjoyed spending the slow morning together, eating and drinking before Tim tied the knot!
While the girls and guys finished getting ready, the designers with Mint Green Design were busy building a stunning a floral-covered arch on the lawn, and Kim’s mom and aunt put together a traditional Persian Sofreh for the ceremony. The display was incredibly ornate, with each item representing the different elements for their new life together! Guests poured into the ceremony space, stopping to sign the guest book and grab a sequin mask. They took their seats and the Bridal Party walked down the aisle. Everyone rose from their seats and was in awe as Kim walked down the aisle with her dad—she was beaming as she made her way toward Tim. They exchanged their vows and participated in the Persian tradition of feeding each other honey, embodying the continual love and sweetness they will give each other in all the years to come.
Following the ceremony, guests climbed up the stairs to the Camelback Overlook, a patio that overlooks the entire property and beyond. Some of the most beautiful views of the mountain can be seen here! The sunset created an incredible backdrop for the guests as they took photos of each other celebrating. And as if guests couldn’t be more surprised, they made their way into the ballroom—it was completely draped, adorned by florals in whites and blushes. The mix of long and round tables worked so well in the space, and you couldn’t help but stare at the serpentine head table centered in the room. Giant marquee letters spelled out “love” in front of the band, and Kim and Tim shared their first dance in front of it. As their loved ones made toasts, everyone laughed and shed many happy tears. The rest of the night was an energetic dance party! Guests enjoyed their late-night bites and watched as Kim’s bridesmaids danced around Tim in a Persian cake knife dance. This was surely a night to remember!
